It is often used in conjunction with salicylic alcohol - first the skin is treated with alcohol, then smeared with sulfur ointment. Dry the skin with alcohol before applying the ointment. After swimming or getting water on the affected areas, the ointment is reapplied.

In parallel with treatment with sulfur ointment, it is necessary to comply simple rules hygiene. The patient's linen should always be clean; it is better to boil it before washing. After completion of treatment, things and bed sheets It's better to throw it away completely.

Sulfur ointment for lichen has long been used in medicine. For severe and running forms depriving, it is used together with antibiotics for better effect. Sulfur ointment is applied to the affected areas twice a day - morning and evening for 7-10 days.

The course of treatment depends on the area of ​​the lesion, the type of lichen and the stage of the disease. In the case of pityriasis rosea, first smear the skin with iodine at night, and then with sulfur ointment.
