We make the body from a 3ml medical syringe. We cut it on both sides so that the length is approximately 55 mm. We carefully process the sections, wash off the applied marks (by the way, they are easily washed off with diesel fuel).

However, you can also use nichrome. You need to use thick wire, for example, with a diameter of 0.3 or 0.5. Smaller ones will not work, but thicker ones can be used, but winding will be difficult. On a small roll of cotton wool you need to wind the kanthal layer by layer, checking each roll with an ohmmeter. You should definitely choose non-sterile cotton wool - this way there will be no “medical” taste. Creating your own mixture
