With independent astral projection, first of all, we note a certain risk and danger of the double’s non-return to the physical body or a partial return.

The simplest and affordable way conscious projection - fasting method. That is, you need to drink only water for 40 - 50 days and not take any food. You need to end fasting gradually, starting with freshly prepared juices diluted with water. The number of days after a juice fast should be equal to half the duration of the fast itself. During fasting, it is recommended to breathe rhythmically according to the yogic system and meditate on the sixth chakra.

Another simple way to enter the astral plane is to bring yourself to the point of exhaustion. This includes long, monotonous work, endless bowing, staying in one position, ultra-long distance running, and so on. There are methods that induce instant trance. This includes pinching certain nerves in the neck, sharp compression of the chest of a person with full lungs, a blow to the head with a hard object, impact on the point between the mouth and nose, and others. Only the exit from the body will be unconscious, and therefore will not be remembered. When an astral double exits, there is always a danger of mistaking the physical body for a dead one and burying it alive. Unfortunately, modern doctors do not know how to distinguish a living body from a dead one. Therefore, approximately 5% of people today are buried alive.

All astral worlds are very densely populated. The essences of the subtle worlds are generally neutral towards humans. But in the lower astral worlds there are creatures hostile to people. Some sorcerers use various drugs, music, and various techniques to exit the astral double, while others can achieve these states spontaneously. There's no rush. 15 to 30 minutes of daily relaxation training will help you with this. A state of mind wandering, even thoughtfulness, helps to “deconcentrate” the consciousness. Let the cottony silence envelop you, then “feel” the house, the room and the person you want to see. If concentration is specifically directed towards a special goal, then it should be limited to the day preceding the experience. During the experiment the mind must be relaxed and then the goal will give impetus to the forces of separation.

The famous American clairvoyant Edgar Cayce himself put himself in a similar state of trance. This is how he described this technique: “Lying down comfortably, I put both palms to my head - to the place where, as they say, the “third eye”, I pray. I lie there and wait for the “signal” for several minutes. A “signal” - a flash of white light, sometimes with a golden tint - means that contact has been made. A strong desire to achieve separation, frequent repetition of this desire and persistent retention in consciousness of a moving image of oneself that goes beyond the body will invariably lead to success. The key to all astral exits is a clear visual image created by your imagination. For development magical power Various exercises have been invented using imagination. Do this 10 to 100 times until every detail of the picture becomes clearly clear. Then take a drawing with more complex illustrations and color pictures for exercise.
  • You can then practice by putting several simple (and then increasingly complex) objects on a tray and trying to remember them with eyes closed, but not through mental association, but simply by visualizing their position.

During sleep, conscious exits to the astral plane are also possible. Typically, extreme thirst and extreme hunger during sleep lead to astral projection. (To do this, it is advised to eat salty food before going to bed and not drink it.)

Conscious projection is also induced by inhaling nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Psychologist William James, after inhaling laughing gas, said that everything was revealed to him mystical secrets. Inhalation of chloroform leads to a similar condition. Medicines containing narcotics also cause separation of bodies. The effects of AD LSD often bear similarities to schizophrenia. But experiments with drugs are unclean, since the trainee cannot give an account of where he was. Moreover, drug use is disastrous for both physical body, and for the human soul.

The human subconscious always knows about the existence of other worlds. Drugs do not provide a complete transition to the astral plane; the transition is distorted and only partial. The most spiritual and safe way travel through the astral worlds is described in yoga. Even with the help of the yogic breathing method alone, you can achieve all imaginable and unimaginable miracles. In the chapter “The Causal Body” we already said that drugs affect circulatory system, and it is connected with the plane of the lower astral. Yogic breathing takes us to the highest astral plane. If you breathe rhythmically for 30 minutes every day, spending 12 seconds on inhalation, 48 seconds on holding your breath after inhalation, and 24 seconds on exhalation, then after three months almost all diseases in a person will be cured. If you breathe for 24 seconds - inhale, 96 - hold, 48 - exhale for 30 minutes, then the exerciser begins to rhythmically fly up half a meter above the ground in the physical body and descend without any bodily movements. As the breath-hold increases, the height of the jumps increases until the physical body begins to levitate continuously. With rhythmic breathing of 36 - 144 - 72 seconds for 30 minutes, a person achieves Nirvikalpa Samadhi. He completely merges with God and discovers in himself all the divine qualities, including such siddhis as conscious exits from the physical body. Thought is power. She moves objects (psychokinesis), creates ghosts and elementals, and animates matter. Thoughts cause bodily changes and thinking man. All diseases in the world are created by thought. Ulcers due to stress, migraines due to frustration, asthma due to anxiety, heart pain due to stress in business, politics and social life. Selfish thoughts create huge egregors of evil.

In the subtle worlds, time does not exist. There are only causes and effects. The reason people exist is because of what will happen in the end. Space is a great idea. What we call matter is a form created by our senses and therefore an illusion. Therefore, any science is just a continuation of our feelings.

Plato said: “The world of reality consists of ideas. They exist in another sphere, but not as simple concepts, but as complex prototypes or first principles. In that world there are ideas about a tree, a person, a dog, etc.” In the world of Eden, in the astral plane, Adam and Eve sinned and were given “coverings of skin” - exile into physical bodies after the fall.

Thomas Aquinas - the Divine Doctor, systematized the entire philosophical heritage from antiquity to 1273. On the astral planets we are just as mortal as on Earth. Only we live there much longer. Deep down in their souls, all people passionately wish for death. In the mental worlds, our bodies are just as mortal as in the physical world. Deceased children instantly grow up in the astral worlds, and old people become younger until the age of 25 - 30 years. Dead people do not see the physical world, just like we do not see them.

The emotional maturity that a person acquires during earthly life determines well-being and happy life souls in the next world. Maturity is everything. The death of the physical body does not in any way change a person's character or thinking. If we do not resolve the differences within ourselves here, then even heaven will not make us happy. Our emotions in the astral worlds after the death of the physical body become thousands of times stronger. If a person has not learned to control his emotions during life, then after death they burn him and turn life on the astral plane into hell until he outgrows them. We ourselves build our own hell, and the demons that will torment us there are our thought forms, our desires. Wealth on earth can be a great obstacle to spiritual development. In heaven, more is asked of the rich and talented than of the poor and simple-minded. Therefore, those who have been given a lot from birth must first overcome their laziness and bad habits on Earth.

All worlds are built according to the figure eight principle. Eight is infinity, it is the ball of the celestial sphere and the ball of the lower sphere, which includes the physical world, the astral, ethereal, demonic, and klifonic. Third Eye

There are four main brains in the physical body: the cerebrum, the cerebellum, the medulla oblongata, and the solar plexus. In addition to them there is the pituitary gland and the pineal gland. The brain is divided into two hemispheres. The cerebellum is located behind and below the cerebrum. They are connected by a short stalk called the medulla oblongata. The solar plexus (abdominal brain) is located behind the stomach. The astral cord of the subtle double can be attached to these four brains. The astral cord is the umbilical cord that feeds the physical body with universal energy. Inside the brain is the pineal gland. She is the main link between the physical and spiritual world. Pineal gland located in the center of the skull just above the end of the spine. It is cone-shaped and red-gray in color. It was called pineal because the gland looks like a pine cone. The pituitary gland is located in front of and below the pineal gland. It is also associated with the occult. Molecular movement in the pineal gland causes clairvoyance. However, for this clairvoyance to illuminate the field of the Universe, the fires of the pituitary gland must unite with the fires of the pineal gland.

Focusing on the pineal gland facilitates conscious projection of the astral body. The pineal gland is called the Third Eye in esotericism. A line of force (astral cord) is formed in the place where a person concentrates his attention. This force controls the physical body and is not created by it.

Energy

A healthy person can work for ten to fifteen weeks without taking any physical food or experiencing fatigue. A fasting person's body temperature drops by only 1 degree Celsius. This means that it is not food that is the main source of energy, but the astral energy received during sleep. We cannot live without sleep after 3 - 4 days of insomnia. The role of food is to supply the material necessary to maintain the system in a state in which Vital energy can circulate freely. Atoms of physical food are used to build new cells of the material body and repair old ones.

A vegetarian diet makes protoplasmic molecules short and more sensitive to ultrashort wavelengths. A vegetarian becomes like a magnet attracting cosmic spiritual energy.

Starvation

Fasting increases the influx of cosmic energy. Of the three sources of energy (nutrition, breathing, sleep), sleep is the most important: it is easy to see that when breathing correctly and nutrition, sleep decreases and vice versa. At the beginning of fasting, sleep time increases. And this is one of the reasons why fasting promotes astral projection. During fasting, one of the secondary sources is turned off. In order to preserve the required amount of energy in the system, the astral body flies away from the physical body to a “further distance” and thereby receives a greater charge of energy. This is why people endure fasting without losing energy, and in some cases even increasing it. (When breathing is turned off, the astral body also “moves further and further away”). The deeper the sleep, the more passive the body, the greater the distance at which the astral double is separated. This is why during hypnotic sleep a person can rest in 15 minutes the same as in 8 hours of normal sleep.

Prolonged fasting forces the astral double to fly to more subtle worlds for the sake of an even greater gain of the missing energy for the physical body. After fasting, the habit of deep sleep remains, so sleep time decreases and energy gain during sleep increases significantly. “Beginners” are recommended to start fasting with a 36-hour fast, which is carried out once a week. Then gradually increase the fasting time to three, seven, ten days. And only after a year of such cleansing procedures can you carry out long-term fasting for more than thirty days. Moreover, the correct way out of fasting is no less important than the fast itself. Many people think that the main thing is to go out vegetable juices during half of the fasting period. Then the healing effect will be ensured. But this is not true. I have met people who did therapeutic fasting for more than forty days. And they went out on vegetable juices. Yes, they found it physical health, got rid of many chronic diseases. However, spiritually they did not become wiser. Some of them, on the contrary, degenerated - they became even greater materialists. And, of course, they did not acquire any siddhis during the fasting process, because their heads were occupied with mercantile thoughts. The main thing when fasting is to transform your thinking, destroy your ego or at least reduce it, change your character, remake your nature. And after fasting, keep your thoughts pure, don’t communicate with dirty people, don’t listen to the radio, don’t watch TV, don’t read newspapers. That is, do not allow yourself to become again “like all people”

If, at the time when you fall asleep, your conscious mind is partially turned off, it continues to work together with the subconscious, then the material for dreams is supplied by two worlds. If the mind is completely switched off, you do not remember dreams. Regarding dreams, you should remember the rule: “When your actions in a dream coincide with the actions of an astral ghost, that dream causes a projection.” That is, before going to bed, you need to program an “aviation” sleep.

During sleep the mind is partially at work, and sleep acts as a suggestion on the subconscious Will - the force that causes the astral double to separate from the physical. The basic law of projection says: “When the subconscious will is seized by the thought of moving the astral body, and the physical body is passive, then the astral body will leave the physical.” The most pleasant way of projection is in a dream.

Dream control method

  • Develop yourself so that you can maintain consciousness until the moment you fall asleep. Keep your hand raised so that when you fall asleep, it falls and wakes you up;
  • Build and schedule your sleep so that it is dominated by your activity along with upward movement (elevator, airplane, flight);
  • Hold the dream clearly in your mind; visually try to imagine it while falling asleep. If you read stimulating books before going to bed, such impressions will also enhance your ability to project (However, do not mistake dream consciousness for real consciousness).

Bringing consciousness into the astral body

There are two factors for awakening consciousness in a dream. These are “sounds” and “correctly applied suggestion.” Sounds operate when the phantom goes beyond the range of the cord, and within its limits the sounds will cause the bodies to combine. As the number of projections increases, consciousness will connect more and more often. In the place of the dream where consciousness turned on in the first dream, it will turn on in other dreams.

The suggestion that you will awaken in a certain place will be one of the most powerful factors in the path of achieving full consciousness in the astral body.

There are four factors that motivate the subconscious will to act in a dream:

  • Flying type dreams/Dreams, arousing desire and habit;

  • Body desire: Hunger; Thirst; Weakness;
  • Habit: Long-standing; Steady; Desirable.

Pulse

The soul weighs approximately 9 grams. In order to project, you need to slow down your pulse, slow down your heartbeat. To do this, you need to lie on your back, cover yourself with a light blanket, and stretch your arms along your body. Focus on the heart. Instill an even rhythm in your heart, count its beats until the rhythm is established. After a few minutes, start counting the rhythm a little slower, thinking that your heart is already beating slower. Don't stop to check your pulse. Continue doing this until you feel your heart beating at the desired speed. For astral projection, the heart rate should be approximately 32-37 beats per minute. You should be cold, although the room will be warm.

To slow down your heart rate, it is good to use a dripping faucet. At first the drops should drip at one second intervals. Adjust your heartbeat to the rhythm of the drops. Then slowly close the tap, reducing the number of drops that fall to 35 per minute. Over time, your heart will beat in time with the falling drops.

Deep passivity and great fatigue will help in projection - the double will rise about one meter above the bed. If you are not tired, then the astral body will come out only 5 - 10 cm. On the day of good projection, you need to learn to relax. Complete relaxation is the key to success. Typically, the ghost rises higher and higher as the sleep becomes deeper. Therefore, most projections take place after a few hours of sleep.

Working with a mirror

For your success in astral projection, you need to study yourself well. Place a chair in front of the mirror. Look at yourself for 15 minutes every day. Look at yourself, remember every little thing until you lose your sense of reality. Imagine that your “I” is in the mirror. Study your nose, lips and so on. Then look into your eyes for 15 minutes while repeating your name. Convince yourself that you are in the mirror.

Then, before going to bed, focus your attention on the path the ghost will take. You must have desire project. Try to wake up at a certain hour at night. And give yourself over to your imagination. Imagine your phantom walking around the room along the wall and then returning to your body.

Development of desire

If you are sure that the desire for projection has taken possession of you strongly enough, then the following properties should appear in you;

  • You should dream about projections of the astral body;
  • You must physically sleepwalk;
  • You must wake up at night with the desire to project.
How to stimulate desires:
  • Strive to wake up in a strictly defined place (at a friend’s place or at the dacha);
  • Slow your heart rate even more;
  • Try to strengthen the desire for projection by the will of the imagination;
  • Tell yourself that from now on you will wake up every night, say, at 3 o'clock. When you wake up, lie still and allow your passive will to stimulate the desire for projection. Become more physically inactive before bed.
Relaxation exercises

Any projection of a double begins with complete relaxation of the body. If any muscles are tense, the ghost will not come out. Therefore, you must definitely learn how to completely relax your physical body.

Here is one of the simplest and easiest relaxation techniques:

A fairly well-known method of immersion into the astral plane is the so-called vortex method. The essence of this method is to follow a special vegetarian diet, as well as to avoid drinking coffee, alcohol, and cigarettes for at least two weeks.

Next, you should take a sitting position (make sure that your back is straight and the energy flows unhindered), without crossing your arms and legs. Also a well-known practitioner of astral travel, Minnie Keeler, recommends having a glass nearby. clean water, which, according to her, will protect you during practice from evil spirits living in the astral plane.

After completing several breathing cycles, you should imagine that you are in the center of a large cone. With the help of consciousness, you should rise to the top of the cone, then imagine yourself inside the vortex movement, while identifying yourself with the top of the cone. Kate Harari's method is not the easiest method of preparing for entering the astral plane. According to this method, your task is to choose the room in the apartment that you love most. After the choice is made, you also need to find a pleasant place for you outside the apartment or house - on the street. You should spend 10-15 minutes in this place, standing there with your eyes closed and absorbing the atmosphere of this place. Then, while still outside, you need to take a deep breath and imagine that you are on a comfortable sofa or chair. As you experience this, you should slowly open your eyes and imagine that everything you see around you is a consequence of your experience outside the body journey. Through inhalation, you should take a good look at the surrounding area and gradually begin to move to the room in the house that you have chosen for practice. Since, in your opinion, you are now receiving your first out-of-body experience, it is better to avoid communicating with people so as not to disrupt the chain of work with consciousness that is important for this method. Then, after you spend 10-15 minutes in the apartment, you should return outside, close your eyes and, taking a deep breath, imagine that you are currently indoors, on your sofa or chair. After this, you need to open your eyes and return to the apartment. Having found a comfortable position, relax and remember that place on fresh air where you just were. Try to remember how you felt on the street, how you felt, imagining that you were sitting on the sofa. Next, through inhalation, you should imagine that you were again indoors and try to imagine what you felt when you stood on the street and imagined that your physical body was already at home.

Despite the fact that this technique may seem confusing at first glance, it is worth understanding it, because the technique that forms its basis is best able to prepare for entering the astral plane.

The “Couples Exit” technique is based on the fact that two people who practice lucid dreaming and feel each other non-verbally use access to astral projection to convey some important information. To do this, it is necessary, while already outside the body, to meet in one designated place, and, after taking exactly 60 steps, knock on the door that appears nearby. Such a session, of course, requires training, but in the case when entering the astral plane occurs in a couple, there is a good opportunity to have support from a close friend while practicing out-of-body practices.

  • the face relaxes;
  • the body becomes soft like plasticine, and the work of consciousness is suspended (for better work you can concentrate on breathing).

There is also a version that a good step for entering the astral plane is the well-known “Shavasana” - one of the relaxing yoga asanas. The main difference between this meditation is that the body is ejected from a lying position, and not from a sitting position, as mentioned above.

What can you see when entering the astral plane?

For people not involved in astral flights, there is a standard description of such a place as the astral and it is often compared with the stories of people who have experienced clinical death. Indeed, those who practice astral access first of all see a certain corridor or deep tunnel, rotating and glowing.

In general, a trip to the astral world is a trip to exactly the same place as reality. This means that in the astral plane you should not expect to meet characters from science fiction films or any fictional creatures. As for the sensations of oneself, a person, being in the astral plane, recognizes his mental body as a ball or some kind of transparent figure; as he develops in the practice of entering the astral plane, a person can begin to see himself in a normal image.

When you enter the astral world for the first time, you can feel calm and relaxed throughout your body, lightness and a feeling as if you are floating in the air. By the way, the first exit from the body should not exceed the limit of 5 minutes, and it is also not recommended to move far from the body.

Terrible dangers lurk in the astral plane

When practicing exits to the astral plane, especially if you do not follow the rules and “walk” quite far from the body, you can run into some troubles, which then have consequences in reality. The astral world initially belongs to spirits and ghosts, and each of them has their own intentions, not always good. Thus, going into the astral plane without protection, there is always a risk:

  • do not return to the ordinary world, stuck in the astral;
  • attract negative entities from the astral world, as a result of which there is a possibility of acquiring mental illness, popularly called “obsession.”

In order to avoid getting into such situations, it is recommended to carefully study the literature on this topic and follow the rules that do not allow you to “travel” outside the home and, if you do long sessions, then secure yourself using the technique of entering the astral plane as a couple.

Rules that will save you from death in the astral plane

Before you start practicing astral travel, you should ask yourself the question “Why do I need this?” Having studied a sufficient amount of information on this topic, and without losing the desire to practice lucid dreaming, you should devote quite a lot of attention to protecting yourself during sessions. Certainly, best protection is a prayer and pectoral cross, which create a kind of shield at the mental level. If you do not belong to the Christian religion, then you can use any other symbols of faith, the main thing is the light energy that arises around you from such means of protection.

Traveling in the astral body, a person can see what is happening at that moment in another place, and can find missing people and lost things.

But in reality, the astral body is not something that only the “chosen ones” have. Regardless of whether a person believes or not, he is not just a physical body - every living being, in addition to the “gross”, visible and tangible body, also has a so-called “subtle” body - this is the totality of his etheric, vital and mental bodies.

In humans, the mental body is much more developed, while in animals the etheric and vital bodies are more active. Almost every person can learn the ability to consciously leave the “gross” body.

This will only require time and patience. Research shows that about 10% of people have experienced a conscious and intentional out-of-body experience, and about 85% have experienced this state during sleep or in the moments between sleep and wakefulness.

Leaving the body in a dream

Many people have had spontaneous experiences of being outside the physical body. This often occurs during sleep or between sleep and wakefulness. But at the same time he begins to notice that the objects around are somehow strange, as if out of focus, everything blurs before his eyes and the perspective is distorted. Or he may try to turn on the light, but the switch “does not work,” he may try to open the door, but it does not open, etc.

And then you begin to understand that you have not yet fully woken up, or you get the feeling that you woke up somehow “wrong.” If you raise your hands and look at them, you will see nothing - as if you are invisible - or you will see a translucent air contour, conventionally indicating your hands. In these first spontaneous out-of-body experiences before awakening, fear, surprise, or discomfort are often felt. Sometimes there may even be panic. At this moment, it is difficult to control your emotions. But gradually a person can get used to the idea that there is nothing scary about leaving the body. On the contrary, the very fact of leaving the body proves that you are immortal and independent of the physical body, which means that you have absolutely nothing to fear, and this fear is irrational.

As a rule, spontaneous exits from the body during sleep or at the border between sleep and wakefulness may indicate excessive fatigue, nervous overstrain, or a daily routine that is not very suitable for health. This phenomenon is also known as “sleep paralysis,” when a person is already awake, feels everything and is aware of everything, but for several seconds cannot completely return to the physical body. There is nothing life-threatening about this, but nevertheless, these out-of-body experiences indicate that you need to rest and get a good night's sleep.

Astral travel

Conscious exits from the body are called astral travel. A person consciously separates his astral body from his physical body and can see his physical body from the outside. Many people say that they climbed up and saw their body from above, and sometimes everything around looks as if in a distorted perspective, as if a person had flown high into the sky and was looking down. From the very beginning of practice, astral travel leads to a qualitative change in consciousness, making it possible to feel something that a person has never experienced before. This important experience leaves an indelible mark on the memory, enriches inner world and changes the perception of reality. The boundaries of what is possible are expanding significantly. The main thing in this practice is the real awareness that we are not entirely only the physical body, bones, flesh and blood; we are something much more.

In the astral body, a person can visit far from home, in the houses of his friends, in other cities and countries, he can hear what people who are at a great distance are saying, he can also meet beings from the subtle world. The appearance of these creatures can be frightening, but in many cases these creatures are products of our mind, thought forms, and not real beings. Many people report that once they realize that these “aliens” are simply a visualization of their own thoughts, these creatures instantly disappear.

Some people hear various sounds in the astral world. Sometimes it is something like the sound of the wind, sometimes it resembles the sound of a flute or the ringing of a bell. Astral noise may be unusual at first, and because of it, a person returns to the physical body again. Astral sounds cannot cause you any harm, so there is no need to fear them.

Methods and principles of leaving the body

There are many different ways separate the astral body from the physical. You can experiment and find a method that works better for you. For example, you can imagine that you are rotating around your axis, gradually separating from the body; others find it more convenient to imagine that they are leaning back, separating from the physical body from the back, or rising up through the top of the head. You can imagine in your mind that a thick rope is hanging from the ceiling, and you are slowly climbing along it. Visualization helps well in this practice. There is no gravity for the astral body; it can fly freely in any direction. To learn to separate from your physical body, you can focus on a wall, ceiling, or some object distant from you and imagine that you are being attracted to it by force of will. Create a wave of attraction in your imagination, and this imaginary wave will help me get used to the movements of my physical body. Gradually you will notice that your will is strong enough to choose the direction and speed of movement, and moving in the astral body will become easier.

Despite the fact that each practitioner is free to choose the method that is suitable for himself, there are a number of recommendations for beginners, proven by the experience of many people:

You need to practice leaving the body only in a very calm, balanced state. It is not recommended to practice when depressed, or if you are experiencing pain, fear, fatigue, resentment, irritation and other negative emotions. Excitement and overly strong positive emotions can also interfere.

Another important condition is complete deep relaxation of the physical body. Once you have ensured that your emotional state is neutral and stable, you need to learn to truly relax physically. Relaxation should begin with concentration on breathing, on the movement of air in the nostrils. There is no need to make any effort - just watch your breathing carefully. When your breathing becomes calm, slowly move your inner gaze throughout your entire body, from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. The body seems to be filled with warm heaviness, the arms and legs seem to be petrified, the facial muscles are also completely relaxed.

You should not leave your body with a full stomach or feeling hungry. In other words, the best state is when no signals from the stomach are felt at all - neither hunger nor satiety.

The room should have a comfortable temperature. It shouldn't be too cold. In a relaxed state, your body temperature drops slightly, and if the room is cool, you can cover yourself with a blanket to avoid freezing.

Make sure you won't be disturbed. It’s not good if during the session the phone or alarm clock suddenly rings, or guests come. The end of the session should be calm.

Do not engage in the practice of astral travel with negative intentions, with the goal of harming someone. These are not notations, but safety precautions. The fact is that various subtle beings live in the astral world - good, evil, neutral... They perfectly sense other people's thoughts and intentions and are instantly attracted to what is close to their nature. Therefore, if you leave your body with negative intentions, you risk meeting not the most pleasant creatures in the astral world.

There is no need to be afraid that you risk getting lost and not returning from astral travel. Experience shows that desire and thought alone are enough to quickly return to the physical body. If after returning you cannot move your arm or leg and feel paralyzed, do not panic. You need to focus on breathing again, feel the movement of air, and again walk through your entire body with your inner gaze, now no longer relaxing it, but, on the contrary, awakening it.

Don't overdo it at the beginning of practice. If you feel dizzy or high blood pressure, stop and return to relaxing the physical body to restore a comfortable state.

While working on DEIR at that time, I paid a lot of attention to energy security, using various protection techniques. In 2003, I bought N. Sherstennikov’s book “Seven Horizons of Power”, in the tenth chapter of which (“Diving into the Depths”) the technique of removing consciousness from the physical body was described. This is where my practice began.

Then, having started to study, for the first time I felt like something like a fish, in the depths of the waters, with water circulating through its gills (a very interesting sensation); later there were other transformations of consciousness. But a start had been made. Preparing for a conscious exit from the body took me approximately three days.

I tried every day, at lunchtime, to lie down for an hour and meditate or exercise in the evening before going to bed. And then on one of these days, during the process of meditation, my consciousness smoothly and imperceptibly found itself in one of the parallel or probabilistic worlds.

Everything was the same as on our land, there were no flights or sudden movements in space. I was just standing on the bank of a wide river, in front of a small cape on which there was a one-story massive building yellow color, with columns in front and huge doors. The building looked like a museum.

I found myself standing inside this building; there were also powerful light columns supporting the ceiling. Two servants, dressed in gray robes with hoods on their heads, approached me, and they motioned for me to follow them. Near the far wall there were three transparent glass cabinets, about two meters high. In the left cabinet there was a beautiful sword without a scabbard, in the right there was a shield, and in the middle - open book, with a golden tint. I didn’t see the text in it, but that was enough to understand the process. I was shown that the most formidable weapon is knowledge, it can be used both for attack and defense.

Increasing the level of your knowledge, increasing the level of your spirituality and mental purity, you come to the conclusion that you have to use weapons less and less often, because You can’t defeat evil with evil, and you won’t even be able to overcome troubles spiritual growth is getting smaller (only the barriers are getting higher).

The journey was over, I lay calmly in bed and for some time remembered the smallest details so as not to forget anything later. There were times when I went out in the middle of the night, I had to get up, briefly write down the events in a notebook, and analyze them in the morning.

Three years later, I bought G. Boreev’s book “Conscious Exits from the Body,” chose a simple method for myself, and began to study methodically. After some time, the first achievements appeared.

The most interesting thing was the exit to the upper astral plane: during meditation, a vibration appeared in the tailbone area, I tried to strengthen it - it worked, then with an effort of will I began to raise the energy upward.

It’s strange, of course, to realize that you are climbing out of your head, resting your hands on your skull. Then there was a breathtaking flight upward, by earthly standards, about four to five seconds, an abrupt stop and the instant appearance of another world, saturated with colors and lightness, in which people live absolutely similar to us (I have never been in worlds with unknown creatures). I had the ability to fly above the surface, unlike them.

One day I materialized in front of two women and asked them, “Where am I?” - their eyes widened, they looked at me as if I were a complete idiot, and quickly walked away. Remembering this episode always makes me smile. Imagine what a similar situation would look like if it happened here on earth?

In conclusion, I want to say a few words about physical sensations: after visiting the lower astral plane, at first I had a noise in my head and my heart was pounding. Over time, these symptoms became milder. After visiting the upper astral plane - delight and good mood for a long time.

For those who have started doing this or are just about to: get rid of bad thoughts and fears that it wouldn’t turn out like this: what they fought against, that’s what they ran into.

In the astral world, everything is much more realistic and depends on what percentage of your waking consciousness will be present there. If you are terribly afraid of water, then in meditation or before going to bed, imagine yourself swimming and diving in a deep body of water, and then going ashore and basking in the rays of the sun in a beautiful landscape.

People who are afraid of heights can do the same thing; jump with a parachute. After some time I might dream similar dream, this suggests that you have already achieved something. The situation is much the same with other phobias. By losing 5-10 minutes a day, you will gain a lot.

On one of my travels I was told: “If you really want it, there will always be a way out...” Try not to fall into a “narcotic” dependence on the astral plane; after its colorful and highly emotional states, earthly life may seem insipid and meaningless.

You should always have goals, dreams and desires that will keep your disembodied spirit on earth and make it come back.
