- T2 - flights within Italy and international flights low-cost carriers outside Schengen: Ryanair, EasyJet, Meridiana, Wizzair, Sun Express, etc.;

A free bus runs around the airport, departure every 15 minutes. At night (from 1-00 to 4-00) it must be called through intercoms.
Each terminal has departure and arrival zones, passport and customs control points. To ensure maximum availability of information about the structure of the entire airport and each of the terminals, there are interactive stands everywhere, where you can see both a map of the airport as a whole and a plan of each of the terminals. The layout of the airport is quite complicated, so it was divided into parts by terminals and by each of its levels (arrival area, departure area, etc.). On each scheme, special icons indicate all the information necessary for the passenger. As with many airports, there are many duty-free shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in each Fiumicino terminal.
Important! It is worth knowing that flights are not served at night, all airport services have a break from 24-00 to 5-00 in the morning. Only a few bars and vending machines with snacks and drinks are open.
Hotels
Many transit passengers stay in terminals overnight. Sleeping on metal chairs is uncomfortable, so passengers have the opportunity to stay in hotels located near the airport. These are the hotels:

Fiumicino airport terminals
To date Rome airport in Fiumicino has four terminals serving different airlines and destinations:
- Terminal 1 - Accepts exclusively flights of the national airline Alitalia and partners of the SkyTeam alliance flying in the Schengen area. It has 72 check-in counters and 5 baggage claim belts;
- Terminal 2 - Designed to serve low-cost companies such as Blue Air, Ryanair and Wizz Air flying to Schengen countries. It is the smallest of all four. It has only 18 check-in counters, and baggage claim is carried out in a nearby terminal;
- Terminal 3 - The largest terminal of Leonardo da Vinci Airport. It is equipped with 231 check-in counters and 8 baggage belts. The bulk of the flights served here belong to countries outside the Schengen area;
- Terminal 5 - Serves airlines flying to the United States and Israel. Equipped with 50 check-in counters and a high-security control system such as a body scanner that can detect prohibited items hidden under clothing.
