The name of the game includes the letter X, which implies the Roman number ten, but it still reads like a letter. Moreover, it is worth noting that there are already more than ten games in the series - just some of them are not numbered and are located between other parts.
At the moment, not so much is known about this game - the plot, some locations where battles will take place, and, of course, several heroes of Mortal Kombat X. Characters are the most interesting, so the conversation about them should be postponed for later ... Now we will talk about the plot of the upcoming game. The first announcement of this part of the series was made in April 2014, and from that moment on the project was overgrown with new rumors. For example, it became known that the events of this game will take place within twenty-five years from the end of the previous one. Even this information mostly refers to the characters that will be presented. The fact is that this is a rather long time period, so in the game you will meet both old and beloved heroes, as well as new ones that you have not yet seen in any of the previous games. This will be the main difference between Mortal Kombat X. The characters will become much older, and some will not even be. But then you can get acquainted with other characters, for example, the descendants of previous characters. Therefore, you will definitely not be bored. In addition, before the release of the game itself, perhaps some more intriguing information will appear.

In Mortal Kombat X, characters will take precedence as they begin to tell a whole new story. But there will be other interesting innovations, which were not previously seen in any of the games. The first character to appear in the announcement of a new game in the series is Scorpio. For this hero, age does not matter, so in Mortal Kombat X, his appearance was to be expected without question. After all, the original Scorpio was killed a long time ago, since then he acts as a ghost who was reborn in the Underworld and is always on the side of the forces of evil. As before, he is confronted by another ninja, whose name is Sub-Zero - he was also present in all episodes of the game, but he is not a ghost. As before, Scorpio uses the snakes flying out of his hands to hit the opponent and pull him towards him, but besides that, he has a fairly large range of abilities that he can successfully use in the fight against the enemy. Naturally, it is not yet known what opportunities X will have. But what the first trailer demonstrates to gamers is very promising.
Sub Zero
One of the most colorful characters in the series will appear in the new game Mortal Kombat X. Players could learn about this from the first trailer, which demonstrates the confrontation between two sworn enemies - Scorpio and Sub-Zero. For the first time in the series, this character was completely different - he had the same abilities, but was an older brother. Quite quickly, he was destroyed by Scorpio, therefore, in almost all subsequent games in the series, it is the younger brother who appears. As before, Sub-Zero's basic techniques and abilities are based on ice handling. He can freeze his opponent, throw blocks at him, create his ice copy, and so on. In the future, he was turned into a cyborg in order to reduce the chances that Scorpio will kill him, like his older brother. Kotal Kahn is likely to be of great importance. As it became known, he is the new ruler of Outworld, the successor of Shao Kahn.
