Calorie content of bread with squash caviar. Recipe: Sandwich with squash caviar. Calorie, chemical composition and nutritional value. Tuna sandwich

The word “sandwich” evokes in us direct associations with sausage, cheese, butter and bread - a complete set of fatty foods that do not fit into the diet of someone losing weight. To restore justice and return sandwiches to the dietary table, let’s do a little research on the topic: “His Majesty the Sandwich.”

The word “sandwich” has Germanic roots: butterbrot – bread and butter. However, other European peoples quickly appreciated the advantage and convenience of quick food and included this dish in their diet.

In Scandinavian countries, there is only one meal with a hot dish - evening lunch. The rest of the time they eat only sandwiches. Often, foreign tourists are puzzled by the fact that during the lunch break in a restaurant they are served sandwiches as the main course.

In Finland they prefer to mix butter with dill, onion and garlic - they like this piquant taste more. The Finnish appetizer is decorated with herbs, vegetables and served to the table.

Cold appetizers are the main component of Swedish cuisine. It was the Swedes who came up with the idea of serving a variety of sandwiches, canapes and cold cuts, and abolished the traditional chairs, leaving guests standing on their feet. This method of eating has become widespread, and today the buffet is popular all over the world.

The Danes loved sandwiches so much that they gave each one its own name. Despite the fact that Danish cuisine already has several hundred types of smorrebrod, local chefs are constantly creating new, multi-layered sandwiches.

One of the masterpieces, Ritt Bjerregaard, named after the mayor of Copenhagen, features thin slices of smoked lamb placed on buttered rye bread. This splendor is topped with scrambled eggs and a mixture of herbs. It is believed that it was the multi-story structure of sandwiches that prompted the Danes to create the Lego constructor.

Residents of the Czech Republic and Slovakia often have so-called “pomazanki” - pastes made from a wide variety of products, which are spread on bread and served as appetizers or a main course for breakfast.

And, of course, we cannot fail to mention American hot dogs and sandwiches, on which the entire fast food industry is built. Once upon a time, at the beginning of the last century, Frankfurt sausages began to be produced in Chicago, which instantly gained popularity not only in America, but throughout the world.

The high title of the sandwich is absolutely justified - His Majesty is respected in all corners of the globe, and recipes for making bread snacks can be found in any kitchen in the world.

What is the sandwich made of?

The answer to this question lies the key to the popularity of the dish. After all, a sandwich can be made from anything. The leftovers from yesterday's dinner are used, small quantities of individual products from which it is impossible to prepare a full meal. At the same time, preparing the snack does not take much time, and each time a new, unique sandwich is served to the table.

Originally, a sandwich was a piece of buttered bread. This tasty, satisfying snack is always available and easy to prepare, but, alas, its calorie content and breakdown of proteins, fats and carbohydrates are far from the parameters of a dietary product.

The classic sandwich includes: white bread (50g), doctor's sausage (50g), cheese (30g), butter (5g). The calorie content of such a dish is 376 kilocalories, and the proportion of fat is 61%.

If we take into account the fact that one sandwich is not enough for many, this amount of food can be safely multiplied by two. The calorie content of a “light” breakfast of two sandwiches and sweet coffee with milk will be about 1000 kilocalories.

It is not surprising that the sandwich is initially perceived as ballast food. Fats in large quantities only provide heaviness in the stomach and, as a result, a feeling of dissatisfaction. Therefore, after sandwiches you also want sweet cookies and candies. Blood sugar levels are unstable, fast carbohydrates provoke sharp jumps, causing a constant feeling of hunger.

The easiest way to health and weight loss is to change your diet, giving up unhealthy foods, processed foods and fast food. These measures bring positive results and work flawlessly.

The body gets used to the new style of eating within a couple of weeks, and only the absence of familiar favorite foods in the diet, for example, sandwiches, darkens the picture, provoking breakdowns.

The process of losing weight should be comfortable, without expressed restrictions, only then the body will not be afraid of the new diet and will easily part with the extra pounds. To do this, you will need to completely reconsider your approach to cooking and learn to cook your favorite dishes in a new way.

Making a sandwich healthy

1. The basis of sandwiches is bread. Let's replace components rich in fast carbohydrates with whole grain buns, black bread and crispbread.

Products made from whole grain flour will enrich your diet with protein, fiber and complex carbohydrates. Slices will help to significantly reduce the calorie content of an individual sandwich - one round loaf of bread contains only 10 grams and 33 kilocalories, while a piece of white wheat bread weighs 40 grams and contains about 100 kilocalories.

2. Oil. We replace it with low-fat cheese or remove it completely.

3. Sausage. Instead of sausage, we use low-calorie sources of protein: boiled meat, chicken, fish, cottage cheese, eggs. 50 grams of boiled sausage contains 130 kilocalories, while 50 grams of chicken breast contains 50 kilocalories.

4. Juiciness. For juiciness, add finely chopped vegetables, herbs, seasoned with low-fat yogurt.

These simple techniques will help reduce the calorie content of a sandwich by 200 kilocalories and make your favorite dish dietary. The combination of complex carbohydrates, fiber and protein creates a balanced, filling product with low calorie content.

By using your imagination, you can diversify your diet and enjoy a new taste of your favorite dish every day.

Crispbread with red fish and cottage cheese

Diet sandwiches with bread are perhaps the most popular snack option. Bread is an excellent alternative to white bread, which is not at all beneficial for a losing weight. These sandwiches are perfect for breakfast, and also serve as a healthy and tasty snack during working hours.

Ingredients:

  • Two dietary breads.
  • One hundred grams of low-calorie cottage cheese.
  • Spices.
  • A bunch of fresh herbs.
  • Lightly salted red fish.

Finely chop fresh herbs and mix with cottage cheese. Salt and season with your favorite spices. Spread the bread with the curd mixture and place pieces of red fish on top. These dietary sandwiches are decorated with a leaf of parsley or a sprig of dill.

Calorie content per 100 grams of product is 98 Kcal.

Hearty chicken breast sandwich

Very often, bread sandwiches are made for complete and hearty snacks. It is a mistaken belief that you cannot eat sandwiches with black bread on a diet. Nutritionists recommend avoiding whites, baguettes and loaves. But whole grain dark bread in moderation has never harmed a losing weight body.

Ingredients:

  • Boiled chicken breast.
  • Two slices of black bread (optional with bran).
  • Tomato.
  • Salt.
  • Avocado.

Process

A healthy fruit - avocado - can replace harmful mayonnaise and sauces in sandwiches. Mash the pulp with a fork and get an amazingly tasty, nutritious and healthy cream. Spread it on diet sandwiches, place pieces of boiled chicken fillet on top, followed by a circle of ripe, juicy tomato. Season with salt, pepper and garnish with fresh herbs.

If desired, you can also put a boiled egg, finely grated garlic or lettuce on such sandwiches with black bread.

Calorie content per 100 grams of product is 122-148 Kcal (depending on the composition and quantity of ingredients).

Sandwich "Traffic Light"

Unfortunately, most people have very little time to prepare food in the morning. That is why in such cases they are a real godsend for those losing weight. A sandwich under the original name “Traffic Light” will help you quickly feed your family breakfast, please your guests, and add a drop of nutrients and vitamins to your children.

Ingredients:

First, you need to prepare a paste from low-fat cottage cheese and avocado pulp. You can add your favorite spices and salt. Spread the mixture onto the bread. The green traffic light is ready.

A circle of ripe and juicy tomato will burn brightly red. But a yellow traffic light is half a boiled chicken egg. The design of sandwiches is an important nuance, although this is not required here: the dish already has a bright, presentable appearance. However, a sprig of fresh parsley will not be superfluous, because even it contains a lot of vitamins and microelements beneficial to the body.

Calorie content per 100 grams of product is 112 Kcal.

Hot lavash

It is a mistaken opinion that everyone is harmful to the figure. In fact, you can make the right warm sandwich that will be tasty, filling, and healthy. Hot dietary lavash sandwiches are an ideal option in this case.

Ingredients:

Cut the pita bread into small squares. Place a lettuce leaf and finely chopped chicken fillet (boiled!) in the center. Salt and add chicken spices. Cut the tomato into thin slices. Place them on top of the chicken. Sprinkle with grated cheese and wrap. It turns out to be a kind of roll or shawarma.

You can prepare similar hot diet sandwiches in two ways:

  • Heat a dry frying pan without adding vegetable oil. As soon as the crust appears golden brown, turn the sandwich over and fry on the other side.
  • Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180-190 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with foil or baking paper. Place the prepared sandwiches and bake for fifteen minutes.

Both options are suitable for dietary nutrition, as they do not involve the use of vegetable oil, that is, harmful fats. The first one will, of course, be faster in time, but after the oven the sandwiches stay hot longer. The choice is yours.

How many calories are in a roll sandwich? Per 100 grams of the finished product there are only 140-152 Kcal. This is an ideal option for a hearty and satisfying breakfast or lunch.

Sandwich with fish pate

Fish and white meat are the products most often used to prepare dietary dishes. Sandwiches are no exception.

Ingredients:

  • Whole grain bread bun (you can use bread rolls).
  • Mackerel.
  • Egg.
  • A tablespoon of sour cream (low-fat).
  • One small lime.
  • Small chili pepper.
  • One small onion.

How to cook

This recipe is good not only because fish pate is healthy and does not negatively affect your figure. The big plus is that you can prepare it “in reserve.” It keeps well in the refrigerator for three to five days. So, by preparing the pate once, you can provide yourself with tasty and healthy sandwiches for a whole week.

Let's get started. The first step is cutting the fish. We get rid of the head, skin and entrails. We wash the mackerel carcass under cold water and cut into small pieces. Boil them in lightly salted water for ten minutes. Leave to cool.

Boil the chicken egg, cool and grate on a fine grater. Chop the onion very finely. All you need from a green lime is grated zest. Place sour cream in a bowl, add zest, egg and onion. Carefully mix the ingredients of the future pate together.

Chili pepper will help add spiciness and piquancy to fish paste. If necessary, rinse and carefully cut in half. It is recommended to remove the seeds, since they contain the main spiciness and bitterness of the pepper. We grate the pulp on a coarse grater or cut it with a knife, but as finely as possible. Add pepper to the pate.

All that's left is to add the fish. When the mackerel has cooled, remove it from the broth using a holey spoon and thoroughly mash it into a paste with a fork. Now the fish can be sent to a common container. By mixing, you get a surprisingly aromatic and tender fish pate with a hint of spicy bitterness. All that remains is to spread it on the base (bread, pita bread, diet bread).

As for the issue of decorating sandwiches, even such a simple sandwich with pate can be decorated in such a way that it would not be a shame to serve it at the holiday table. Take a large plate and place the sandwiches on it. Place a small sprig of parsley or a sprig of dill on top of each. Along the edges you can add pieces of chili pepper and small slices of lime as decoration. The composition is ready. Bon appetit!

For 100 grams of such a sandwich with fish pate there are about 152-160 Kcal, if it is a diet bread or Armenian thin lavash. If you took a white bread bun as a basis, then the calorie content will increase to 192-200 Kcal.

Sandwich with squash caviar rich in vitamins and minerals such as: vitamin B6 - 11.9%, vitamin E - 39.4%, vitamin PP - 17.4%, silicon - 18.8%, magnesium - 11.3%, phosphorus - 19% , chlorine - 26.7%, iron - 14.4%, cobalt - 29.6%, manganese - 95.8%, copper - 23.7%, molybdenum - 17.9%, zinc - 11.7%

What are the benefits of a sandwich with squash caviar?

  • Vitamin B6 participates in maintaining the immune response, processes of inhibition and excitation in the central nervous system, in the transformation of amino acids, the metabolism of tryptophan, lipids and nucleic acids, promotes the normal formation of red blood cells, maintaining normal levels of homocysteine in the blood. Insufficient intake of vitamin B6 is accompanied by decreased appetite, impaired skin condition, and the development of homocysteinemia and anemia.
  • Vitamin E has antioxidant properties, is necessary for the functioning of the gonads and heart muscle, and is a universal stabilizer of cell membranes. With vitamin E deficiency, hemolysis of erythrocytes and neurological disorders are observed.
  • Vitamin PP participates in redox reactions of energy metabolism. Insufficient vitamin intake is accompanied by disruption of the normal condition of the skin, gastrointestinal tract and nervous system.
  • Silicon is included as a structural component in glycosaminoglycans and stimulates collagen synthesis.
  • Magnesium participates in energy metabolism, synthesis of proteins, nucleic acids, has a stabilizing effect on membranes, and is necessary to maintain homeostasis of calcium, potassium and sodium. A lack of magnesium leads to hypomagnesemia, an increased risk of developing hypertension and heart disease.
  • Phosphorus takes part in many physiological processes, including energy metabolism, regulates acid-base balance, is part of phospholipids, nucleotides and nucleic acids, and is necessary for the mineralization of bones and teeth. Deficiency leads to anorexia, anemia, and rickets.
  • Chlorine necessary for the formation and secretion of hydrochloric acid in the body.
  • Iron is part of proteins of various functions, including enzymes. Participates in the transport of electrons and oxygen, ensures the occurrence of redox reactions and activation of peroxidation. Insufficient consumption leads to hypochromic anemia, myoglobin deficiency atony of skeletal muscles, increased fatigue, myocardiopathy, and atrophic gastritis.
  • Cobalt is part of vitamin B12. Activates enzymes of fatty acid metabolism and folic acid metabolism.
  • Manganese participates in the formation of bone and connective tissue, is part of enzymes involved in the metabolism of amino acids, carbohydrates, catecholamines; necessary for the synthesis of cholesterol and nucleotides. Insufficient consumption is accompanied by slower growth, disturbances in the reproductive system, increased fragility of bone tissue, and disturbances in carbohydrate and lipid metabolism.
  • Copper is part of enzymes that have redox activity and are involved in iron metabolism, stimulates the absorption of proteins and carbohydrates. Participates in the processes of providing oxygen to the tissues of the human body. Deficiency is manifested by disturbances in the formation of the cardiovascular system and skeleton, and the development of connective tissue dysplasia.
  • Molybdenum is a cofactor for many enzymes that ensure the metabolism of sulfur-containing amino acids, purines and pyrimidines.
  • Zinc is part of more than 300 enzymes, participates in the processes of synthesis and breakdown of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, nucleic acids and in the regulation of the expression of a number of genes. Insufficient consumption leads to anemia, secondary immunodeficiency, liver cirrhosis, sexual dysfunction, and the presence of fetal malformations. Research in recent years has revealed the ability of high doses of zinc to disrupt the absorption of copper and thereby contribute to the development of anemia.

Salad with shrimp

Ingredients for 4 large servings:

  • 1 kg raw shrimp in shell
  • Arugula
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • 50 g parmesan
  • Olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Sea salt
  • Ground black pepper

This seemingly ordinary salad is actually very tasty if you make it according to all the rules. The main rule: buy raw shrimp, not frozen boiled ones.

We clean the shrimp from the shell. And be sure to remove the intestinal vein by carefully cutting the back of each shrimp lengthwise. It's better to leave the tails. True, then you have to poke around, but it’s more elegant this way. If you want, remove it.

Peel the garlic and remove the core to avoid bitterness. In heated olive oil, fry the garlic and hot pepper until golden brown. We throw it away mercilessly. And now fry the shrimp in this oil. Literally a couple of minutes on each side. They shouldn't become rubbery.

Salt. We take it out and immediately put it on the arugula. You can season it with the spicy oil in which the shrimp were fried, just let it cool.

Cut the tomatoes into halves. Three slices of Parmesan cheese, sprinkle with balsamic vinegar. All is ready. A very simple salad.

Afternoon snack

Sandwich with squash caviar

Ingredients for a large saucepan:

  • 5 pieces of small zucchini
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 1 white onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tbsp tomato juice
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • Ground black pepper

This caviar can be stored for almost a week and you won’t get tired of it. Feel free to replace balsamic vinegar with lemon juice, and olive oil with vegetable oil. Taste for the amount of garlic (3-5 cloves). You will add vinegar (lemon juice), salt and pepper almost at the very end - to taste.

Blanch the tomatoes: cut them open, pour boiling water over them for a couple of minutes, peel them and, if the seeds are very large, get rid of them too. Cut into cubes, pour in juice and let it brew for a bit - it will add a slight “pickling” quality.

Now peppers and zucchini. My “ergonomic” advice to you is to prepare everything in advance, then you will fuss less and everything will happen much faster.
We peel the peppers from the stalk and seeds, cut them into small (!), no more than 1x1 cm, cubes.
We peel the zucchini and chop it too.

Finely chop the onion and garlic and simmer in 1 tbsp. butter with 5 tbsp. water until soft. Add the peppers, stirring and simmering for about 5 minutes. Now the tomatoes, now we wait until they release their juice well - we will need about 10 minutes. Next are the zucchini. Simmer with the lid open for 5 minutes.

Now cover everything and forget for about 25 minutes. Stir once in the middle and at the same time add salt, pepper, and vinegar.

Then it’s up to you what consistency you like. If you don't need a lot of juice, simmer for another 10 minutes with the lid open - it will evaporate. Let it cool and put it in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, or even better, overnight.

  • 1 large tomato
  • 0.5 onions

  • 1 bunch green basil
  • Red hot pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
*Lemon juice can be replaced with lime or balsamic vinegar. **If you want to get something similar to “marinated fish” (remember, in childhood?), add 3 tbsp. spoons of apple cider vinegar.

Finely chop the onion, garlic and seeded red pepper (be careful, don’t overdo the quantity - that’s where all the heat comes from). Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and remove skins and seeds, then cut them into small pieces. Peel the sweet pepper and cut into cubes.

In a frying pan with a small amount of oil, sauté onions, garlic and hot peppers. Add the sweet pepper and after five minutes the tomatoes. If you want more sauce, add water or vegetable broth.

Add lemon juice or vinegar, salt and pepper, add turmeric and simmer for ten minutes. At this time, cut the fillet and place it in a baking dish. Add the herbs to the finished sauce, mix, pour it over the fish and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

What should people on a diet do who cannot do without bread? An alternative to white rolls made from high-grade flour can be Borodino black bread. Although this bread can hardly be called dietary in terms of calorie content, due to its beneficial qualities this product will help you in the difficult task of losing weight. Of course, this does not mean that it is possible to eat a lot of Borodino bread and still be on a diet, but if you allow yourself a couple of pieces, it will even be beneficial.

Rumors are growing around Borodino bread that it is, in principle, dietary, because it contains rye flour. It is believed that it is due to this that the calorie content of the product is reduced. However, this stereotype is dispelled when information is received that this flour is only 15% in the recipe.

How many calories are in Borodino bread?

Most people believe that brown bread has much fewer calories than white bread, but this is a misconception. Borodino bread contains 210 kcal per 100 g, while 100 g of white wheat bread contains 260 kcal, the difference is small. Although Borodino bread cannot be called a dietary product, it is much healthier than other flour products, so if you are in the process of losing weight, then it is better to eat Borodino bread.

Energy value of the product Borodino bread (Ratio of proteins, fats, carbohydrates):

Protein: 6.8 g (~27 kcal)
Fat: 1.3 g (~12 kcal)
Carbohydrates: 40.7 g (~163 kcal)

Energy ratio (b|w|y): 13%|6%|79%

The question arises: why is this bread so popular among nutritionists? After all, it is really recommended to consume it in small quantities during a diet. Pieces of Borodino bread.

Firstly, the recipe for Borodino bread includes wheat flour, not the first, but the second grade. This can already be noted as a plus. After all, the most harmful to the body is flour of the first grade. It has a high percentage of gluten. But second-grade flour contains much more bran, which can stimulate the stomach and intestines in our body.

Secondly, this product contains healthy seeds. These are coriander and cumin, which are sprinkled on the top. In addition, the composition is rich in useful microelements, there is calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, magnesium, sodium. Vitamin compounds of group PP and B are also present there.

Bread for disease prevention

Nutritionists, as well as doctors, advise regularly eating Borodino bread for people who suffer from constipation, as well as gout and hypertension. Borodino bread contains bran, which helps strengthen intestinal motility, and in addition, coriander or caraway seeds help remove uric acid from the human body. Unfortunately, as often happens, in addition to the benefits, there are also harms of Borodino bread.

Who better to refuse such bread

Borodino bread is a product with a high degree of acidity, so it is contraindicated for people who suffer from gastrointestinal diseases characterized by high acidity. Bread contains sugar, which makes it an undesirable product in the diet of diabetics; the presence of gluten excludes it from the menu of those who cannot tolerate this protein. Borodino bread consists of coarse dietary fiber; it is not recommended for enterocolitis.

How much bread can you eat on a diet?

For anyone who is struggling with excess weight or simply watching their figure, bread should be significantly limited. It is believed that it is enough to consume about 50 grams of bread per day during a diet. It turns out that you will have to limit yourself to just two pieces.

Grain or rye bread is the best choice of bread when dieting. Bread can be eaten during a diet separately from main meals or along with soup. You should never eat pasta, porridge, potatoes, rice with bread. Such a meal will be too rich in carbohydrates and calories. In addition, eat bread on a diet without butter or vegetable oil. This addition will significantly increase the calorie content of a serving.

Sandwiches, of course, are not welcomed by any nutrition system for weight loss. Therefore, try to avoid such snacks. During a diet, bread can be eaten both in the morning and in the evening. However, try not to use bread later than 4 hours before bed or after 8 pm.
