Compound:

  • Minced meat – 500 g (it is better to take less fatty minced meat, for example, veal)
  • Vermicelli – 1.5 cups
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Sour cream – 350 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Cheese – 100 g
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Spices - to taste (I added dried dill, parsley, oregano and basil)

Preparation:

Boil the vermicelli until half cooked. For this condition, it is enough to cook the noodles after boiling water for 1.5-2 minutes. Rinse the finished vermicelli with water so that it does not stick together.

Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Heat sunflower or olive oil in a frying pan and add onion. Fry the onion until soft and lightly browned.

Place the defrosted minced meat in advance with the onion and fry until whitened over high heat. This way all the juices will be sealed inside and the minced meat will remain juicy. This will take no more than 5 minutes.

Then cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to low and cook the minced meat for another 10 minutes. 5 minutes before cooking, add salt, pepper and spices.

Prepare sour cream filling. To do this, first combine sour cream with ½ cup of boiling water. So, firstly, the sour cream will become thinner and it will be easier for us to grease the casserole with it, and secondly, the sour cream will not curdle in the oven. Add eggs, salt, pepper and spices to sour cream.

Mix the sour cream filling thoroughly.

Combine the finished minced meat with noodles and mix thoroughly.

Grease a baking dish with any fat. It can be mayonnaise, butter or vegetable oil. Place the minced meat mixed with noodles in a thick layer.

Pour sour cream filling over the minced meat with noodles and distribute it evenly.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle it over the casserole. You can use absolutely any cheese.

Place the casserole in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-30 minutes until golden brown. If you have a top heat in your oven, turn it on 10 minutes before. until the end of cooking, so the cheese crust will turn out more ruddy.
