The early stage of the Unified State Examination in 2017 will be held from March 14 to April 7. The main one is from May 29, 2017 to June 30.

As in 2016, the schedule, along with reserve dates for conducting the Unified State Exam, Unified State Exam and State Examination in individual academic subjects, provides an additional reserve day for conducting exams in all academic subjects. It is necessary for those participants who, for any reason, were unable to participate in the exam on the main or reserve day, for example, due to the coincidence of two selected subjects on the same day or absence for a valid reason.
Dates for the Unified State Exam 2017
The early examination period, which is held in March–April, is mainly intended for graduates from previous years.
The main period is traditionally organized in May - June in all subjects for all graduates of the current year.
During the additional period in September, exams are held in compulsory subjects - Russian language and basic level mathematics.
Students who have not passed the state final certification in compulsory subjects have the right to take exams in September.
Graduates who have received a certificate of secondary general education and who wish to improve their satisfactory results in these subjects are not allowed to participate in the Unified State Examination in September. They can retake the exams no earlier than after a year.
To participate in the Unified State Exam, you must submit an application before February 1 (inclusive), which should list the subjects in which the participant plans to take the Unified State Exam. You can indicate any number of items in your application.
School graduates of the current year apply to take the Unified State Exam at their place of study. The rest of those interested must submit an application to the places of registration for taking the Unified State Exam, determined by the educational authorities of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation.

If violations were identified during the Unified State Exam, then you must submit a complaint directly to the commission at the delivery point. In this case, the results for a group of students may be canceled and the retake scheduled for a reserve day. If there is a repeated violation on a reserve day, the decision to retake the Unified State Exam is made by the regional center or postponed to September. So far, there have been no precedents for double violations.
Early passing of the Unified State Exam in 2019 is provided for those who:

This schedule is preliminary; changes may be made before the final approved version is released. Changes are being made in connection with adjustments to the rules for conducting the exam, as well as according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Education.
How to successfully pass the Unified State Exam 2019:Tip #1: Develop logic! You won't even be able to pass chemistry with the latest changes by simply cramming - you need to be able to think outside the box. Why before others?

During the additional examination period from September 5 to 16, graduates who failed to score the minimum required points, that is, cross the threshold, in May - June can take the Unified State Exam in mathematics (basic level) or Russian language.
The main requirement that must not be forgotten is that the exam is taken once a year. The exception is current year graduates who have not passed the Unified State Exam in Russian language and mathematics (basic level). If you do not achieve the minimum scores in one of these subjects, you can retake it in an additional period. The main thing is not to forget your passport
To pass early, schoolchildren submit an application to participate in the Unified State Exam to their school. Graduates of previous years must submit an application to participate in the Unified State Exam at the offices of the Moscow Regional Information Processing Center (RTSC). Documents you will need are a passport and an original education document.
The application must list the subjects in which you plan to take exams. For current year graduates, exams in Russian language and mathematics (at any of the two levels) are mandatory, the rest can be chosen independently (most often depending on the profile of the university).

The fact that tests have become obsolete as a form of testing knowledge was stated by the former Minister of Education D. Livanov. He said that the gradual abandonment of the test part of the exam in all subjects without exception is already being considered by his department. And by 2017 we will see the first results of such changes.
According to rumors, the new rules for passing the Unified State Exam also implied the introduction of a third compulsory subject. History (or biology, according to some sources) should have been added to the “Russian language + mathematics” pair. But since, according to the rules, all important changes must be published before the start of the academic year, and there is no information on the FIPI website, graduates of 2017 can breathe freely - there will be no third compulsory subject
However, the question of a new exam is still open. True, a decision on it will be made after open public discussions, as officials from the Ministry of Education assure.
Rules for submitting subjects
Russian language
Before the start of the school year, there was talk about introducing a new part to the Russian language exam - “speaking”, by analogy with the English “speaking”, that is, oral speech. However, the Ministry of Education decided to try this option first on the Unified State Examination, that is, on ninth graders. After the appropriate “run-in”, the oral part of the exam will reach the Unified State Examination.
Thus, no global changes are expected in the Russian language exam. There will be innovations only in some tasks, and all innovations will be aimed at expanding the material and making it more complex.
Mathematics
The division into two levels in the mathematics exam still remains. Those who decide to connect their future profession with the humanities will only need to pass a basic exam, but those who want to enter engineering and technical universities will have to pass a more complex specialized part. And in this part, small changes are possible: tasks of increased complexity may turn out to be truly “increased”, that is, requiring a non-standard approach to solution.
Physics
The physics exam will undergo the most serious and significant changes - the abandonment of the test part. That is, students will no longer have the opportunity to guess the correct answer from the list of provided options. The test part will be replaced by a block with short answers, that is, solutions in the form of numbers or words. Thanks to this innovation, physics will truly become the most difficult exam on the Unified State Exam list.
Biology
The test part will also be removed from the biology exam. Just like in physics, the place of tests will be taken by a model with short answers. The main block of tasks will also expand: it will include new types of tasks, compared to previous years. Those taking the exam will also be required to be able to work with tables, graphs and diagrams - the Unified State Examination in Biology will include tasks on restoring missing “pieces” from tables or flowcharts. But at the same time, the developers assure that the exam will not become too difficult (as in the case of physics).
Chemistry
Another subject from which the test component will be excluded will be chemistry. And even in the block with short answers, changes will appear - for example, there will be several correct options, and the student’s task will be to decide how many correct answers the problem actually has. The developers seem to have decided to simplify the exam - the number of tasks in the Unified State Exam in Chemistry 2017 will be reduced.
Social studies, history, computer science, foreign language, and geography remain virtually unchanged. All these subjects, according to officials from the Ministry of Education, will not cause any special problems for schoolchildren.
Unified State Exam 2017 changes associated with this final exam are one of the most relevant for many topics. Duration of the Unified State Exam by subjects in 2017.
According to the regulations established and prescribed by law, each individual subject is prescribed and has its own specific time limit. It is worth saying that in some cases, the amount of time allotted for submitting items may differ by only 5-10 minutes. Although, at least 180 minutes should be allocated for each subject, but everything directly depends on the structure of the subject. For example, oral exams such as foreign languages, chemistry, biology, geography - no more than 3 hours are allocated and scheduled for passing them, but for mathematics, Russian language, physics, computer science, literature - no less than 4 hours. To date, there is no information yet regarding how long the exam will last, so there is a fairly high probability that the amount of time allotted will remain the same as it was last year. Namely:

As can be seen from the table presented, the difference is actually not entirely significant.
Passing scores in subjects.
Just like the time allotted for the subject, each of the declared disciplines has its own passing score, a minimum threshold. It is worth saying that this item of the Unified State Exam undergoes various changes every year. What should we expect in the new year in the main and most popular and frequently taken subjects?
- Firstly, the Russian language. Here the minimum threshold is 36 points.
- Secondly, mathematics. Regarding the profile course, the passing level is 27 points, but the basic level is 36.
- Thirdly, social studies – 42 points.
- Fourthly, English – 22 points.
- Fifthly, history. Here the minimum passing threshold is 32 points.
I would like to believe that the 2017 Unified State Exam changes will only be beneficial and will have a positive effect on the entire exam, because an exam is always a big responsibility, and constant innovations sometimes simply lead to confusion, and sometimes even distract graduates from more thorough preparation, since they do not you know what to expect.
