And they fell in love not only with their taste buds, but also “scientifically”. It is now known for certain that avocado is very healthy, and in Western countries with its cult of healthy eating it is one of the top 10 foods. What do we know about avocados?

But what is good about this strange fruit? The ancient Aztecs called it “forest oil” because of its high fat content (up to 30%), and it was one of the good fats important for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. In addition, the potassium contained in avocados has a beneficial effect on the skin, circulatory system and heart. Another important point: avocado fruits contain a lot of natural antioxidant - glutathione, which prevents the aging of the body. Avocado contains 200 kcal.

To be honest, I didn’t taste the taste of avocado the first time, but all because the fruits often arrive in stores green and unripe, in this state they cannot boast of outstanding taste.   • salad mix (arugula, iceberg, watercress)
  • sweet paprika 1/4pcs
  • olive oil 2-3 tbsp
  • French mustard 1 tsp
  • salt, pepper, Provençal herbs
  • garlic 1 clove

Tear the lettuce leaves with your hands. The salad mix can be replaced with any salad you can find in the store.
Cut a ripe avocado and divide it into halves, remove the pit and remove the skin from the fruit. Cut the avocado into small slices so as not to darken, sprinkle with lemon juice.

  • 3/4 cup fresh apple juice
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

A salad with avocado, cheese and apple can easily replace a whole lunch if you... And how many vitamins and substances necessary for the body are in it! Avocado is very good for skin and hair, because they are the ones that suffer most from strict diets. We have all known about the benefits of apples since childhood; it is not without reason that doctors say: “In order to be healthy, it is enough to eat only two apples a day!” Bell peppers are considered to be the record holder for vitamin C content, and they also contain a lot of other vitamins. Cheese contains a lot of easily digestible protein, essential amino acids, zinc and calcium. This salad also includes garlic, which has antibacterial and many other properties. And, as a nice bonus, there is a light dressing of olive oil and wine vinegar.




To prepare salads, you need to choose ripe avocados that are soft to the touch. If all the fruits in the store are hard, there is a way to “help” them ripen faster. Place the avocado in a paper bag along with a ripe banana or apples, close tightly and keep it there until ripe.

Ingredients for 2-3 servings:
- 1 ripe avocado,
- 1 sweet bell pepper (preferably yellow),
- 1 red apple,
- 100 g of Russian cheese,
- 5 tablespoons of olive oil,
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar,
- Salt, ground black pepper,
- Parsley and lettuce for decoration.


Step-by-step recipe with photos:





Wash and dry the avocado, bell pepper and apple. Peel the avocado, cut in half, remove the pit and cut the flesh into medium-sized pieces.
Cut the sweet pepper pod into two parts lengthwise, remove the stem and seeds and cut crosswise into thin strips.
Remove the core and seeds from the apple and cut it into thin slices, as shown in the photo.
Cut Russian cheese for salad with avocado and apple into cubes with a side of about one centimeter. Instead of this cheese, you can also use feta cheese or mozzarella.




Place all the ingredients in a salad bowl and prepare the dressing. Peel and finely grate a clove of garlic. If you come across large garlic, then half a clove is enough; we only need it for a light aroma. Next, pour olive oil, wine vinegar into a small bowl, add salt and pepper to taste, and add garlic. Mix the sauce well.




Dress the salad with avocado, hard cheese and apple with the resulting light dressing, garnish with herbs and serve.
