What does a resistor do in an electrical circuit? Resiston: instructions for use

3 reviews

The product affects the mechanism of attachment of bacteria and viruses to the mucous membrane, thereby preventing the penetration of viruses and bacteria into the body. The drug has a pronounced immunomodulatory effect, which causes rapid depression viral infection. It also prevents the proliferation of bacteria that have already entered the body, thereby preventing the development of complications. The drug helps activate cleaning mechanisms respiratory tract, which improves the removal of viscous mucus and eliminates conditions for further proliferation of pathogenic bacteria.
Treatment with the drug leads to a rapid decrease in the severity of symptoms such as cough, heavy sputum discharge, general malaise, fever and rhinitis, significantly reduces the duration of the disease, and does not contribute to the development of microbial resistance.
The drug is a complex mixture of many components, which is generally considered as an active substance.

Indications for use:
The drug is used to treat acute and chronic infections of the respiratory tract and nasopharynx (bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillar tonsillitis, nasopharyngitis).

Mode of application:
taken by adults and children over 12 years of age: 30 drops 3 times a day.
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 20 drops 3 times a day.
Children aged 1 to 6 years: 10 drops 3 times a day.
The solution should be taken with a small amount of water in the morning, afternoon and evening.
Hold the bottle vertically and, if necessary, lightly tap the bottom.
After the severity of the symptoms of the disease has decreased, it is recommended to continue treatment with Resistol for several more days to prevent relapse. The average duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks.

Side effects:
Side effects may occur when using drops:
from the outside digestive tract: gastrointestinal disorders (including stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, diarrhea), mild bleeding from the gums.
From the outside respiratory system: mild nosebleeds.
From the skin/ immune system: hypersensitivity reactions (including rash, urticaria, itching of the skin and mucous membranes). In isolated cases, severe hypersensitivity reactions with facial swelling, shortness of breath and decreased blood pressure are possible.
From the hepatobiliary system: increased liver function indicators. A cause-and-effect relationship between the increase in these indicators and the use of the drug has not been demonstrated.

Contraindications:
Contraindications to the use of the drug are: hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the drug, predisposition to bleeding, simultaneous use of drugs that slow down the blood clotting process, severe liver or kidney disease (due to the lack of sufficient experience in using this drug in such cases).

Pregnancy:
Due to the lack of sufficient experience with the use of the drug in pregnant and breastfeeding women, it should not be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Interaction with others medicines:
There are no reports of interaction of the drug with other drugs.
Because of possible influence the drug Resistol on blood clotting parameters, it is possible that when used simultaneously with coumarin derivatives or other drugs that prevent blood clotting, their anticoagulant effect may be enhanced. No interactions of the drug Resistol with penicillin V have been identified.

Overdose:
There are no reports of overdose. The severity of adverse reactions may increase.

Storage conditions:

Resistol

Compound

Resistol oral drops contain:

Pelargonium root extract.

Ethyl alcohol 40%.

Glycerol.

pharmachologic effect

Resistol is an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, immunomodulatory and cytoprotective drug that contains active ingredient plant origin– pelargonium root extract. Resistol helps reduce the adhesion of viral and bacterial nature to mucous membranes, reduces the risk of infection with infectious respiratory diseases. Due to its influence on various parts of the immune system, Resistol promotes more quick recovery and prevents the development of complications.

Resistol also has some mucolytic effect, helps cleanse the respiratory tract, thin the mucus and facilitate its elimination.

During therapy with Resistol, there is an improvement in the condition of patients with respiratory infectious diseases, in particular, there is a decrease in the severity of cough, weakness, fever and rhinitis.

The pharmacokinetics of Resistol drops are not presented.

Indications for use

Mode of application

Resistol drops are taken orally. Resistol can be taken regardless of the time of day or meal, but the greatest effect is observed when taken 30 minutes before meals. The drops must be dissolved in a spoonful of water immediately before use. When dispensing drops, the bottle must be held vertically (dropper down), if necessary, you can gently tap the bottom of the bottle.

The dosage of drops and the duration of therapy are determined individually by a specialist.

The course of treatment is prescribed individually; to prevent relapse, taking drops is recommended for another 3 days after the symptoms have disappeared.

The average course of treatment is no more than 3 weeks.

Side effects

While taking the drug Resistol, patients in rare cases experienced the development of diarrhea, heartburn, nausea and stomach pain. In some cases, when taking Resistol drops, patients noted the appearance of slight bleeding gums and mild nosebleeds (such effects were more often observed in patients prone to bleeding).

In persons with hypersensitivity, Resistol can cause allergic-type reactions, including itching, rash and urticaria. Possible isolated severe allergic reactions, including facial swelling, bronchospasm and anaphylactic shock.

Some patients experienced an increase in the activity of liver enzymes during therapy with Resistol, but a direct connection of the drug with this effect has not been established.

Contraindications

Resistol is not prescribed if you are intolerant to the components of the drops.

Resistol drops should not be used in patients with a tendency to bleed, as well as in patients receiving medications that reduce blood clotting.

Resistol is contraindicated in patients with pathologies of the hepatobiliary and urinary systems (due to insufficient data on the use of drops in such patients).

In pediatrics, Resistol is not prescribed to patients under 1 year of age; to patients 1-6 years of age, Resistol should be prescribed with caution and under strict medical supervision.

Pregnancy

Resistol is not prescribed to pregnant women (there is no sufficient clinical experience with the use of drops in this group of patients).

Drug interactions

Resistol can affect blood clotting parameters and potentiate the effect of anticoagulant drugs when taken simultaneously.

Overdose

There have been no reports of an overdose of Resistol drops.

Release form

Resistol oral drops 50 or 20 ml in dark bottles with a polymer dropper and a tamper evident cap, 1 bottle in a cardboard box.

Storage conditions

Resistol is stored sealed for no more than 1 year; after opening the bottle, the drops are good for 3 months.

A specific temperature regime for storing Resistol drops is not required.

Adverse reactions.

On the side of the grass tract: disorders of the herbal tract (including pain in the throat, baking, boredom, diarrhea), mild bleeding is clear.

On the side of the dichotomy system: mild nosebleeds.

On the side of the skin/on the side of the immune system: hypersensitivity reactions (including drying on the skin, urticaria, itching of the skin and mucous membranes). In some cases, there may be severe hypersensitivity reactions with swelling of the face, congestion and decreased arterial pressure.

On the side of the hepatobiliary system: improvement of liver function indicators. A causal link between the advancements of these indicators and the stagnation of the drug has not been demonstrated.
